The House
The accommodation is of a very high standard; the interior is welcoming, very comfortable and elegant, and furnished with beautiful antiques, paintings, and many books. A large hallway gives onto a living room with a large open fireplace, an attractive dining room with doors to a side terrace, and a large well-equipped kitchen opening onto the covered dining terrace. Also on the ground floor are two twin bedrooms, a bathroom with a wc, and a shower room with a wc.
There are two staircases leading to the first floor. The first takes you to the spacious and bright bedrooms: three double bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom with a separate shower unit and a wc, a twin bedroom, and a further bathroom with a separate shower unit and a wc. The second staircase leads to a charming library, a real haven of peace.
Kitchen & Terrace
The Kitchen ( 14' x 14' ) is fully equipped and gives direct access to the dining terrace.
Salon & Dining Rooms
The Salon ( 22' x 21' ) - faces south with doors onto one of the terraces and has a large effective fire.
The Dining Room ( 21' x 20' ) - adjoins the salon facing south and west onto the vine covered terrace.
The Bedrooms
The Principal Bedroom ( 20' x 17' ) - a large bedroom that faces due south and enjoys panoramic views over the valley with its own private bathroom.
The Yellow Bedroom ( 15' x 14' 6" ) - faces east and has its own entrance to the garden, perhaps the coolest room in hot weather.
The Blue Bedroom ( 14' 6" x 13' 6" ) - faces east and is twin bedded, catches the early morning sun and remains cool throughout the day.
The North Bedroom ( 18' 6" x 15' ) - a large en-suite bedroom that faces east and north and is cool in the summer.
The West Bedroom ( 19' x 15' ) - features a large bed made by the village carpenter and faces west over the pool. It has direct access to its bathroom also equipped with a separate shower cubicle.
The East Bedroom ( 15' x 16' 6" ) - the only twin bedded room upstairs. Its dedicated bathroom is immediately across the corridor.
The Pigeonnier room.
This bedroom (20 ft by 18 ft) is in a separate building with long views over the garden and valley and has twin king-size canopy beds and a shower room.
