Situated on a hilltop to the south of the bastide village of Lauzerte in the Tarn et Garonne,
Le Grès faces south across the valley of the Barguelonne with wide views to the distant Pyrenees.
The house is approached through a wood and is completely secluded surrounded by its lawns and terraces
planted with lavender, rosemary and flowering shrubs which fall to the south past fig trees
and a meadow to vineyards amd a small lake beyond. There is an air of tranquility and peace.
The terraces, one south facing and one under a vine against the west wall of the house provide, respectively
sun and dappled shade important for lunch and comfortable for dinner during the summer months.
